Here’s a weird one I haven’t encountered before: I noticed some pharma spam coming up in Google search results for one of my sites. So I scrambled, thinking it had been hacked, but upon inspection, it appears that everything’s fine. In fact, if you click on what appears to be one of the spammy search results in Google, you can see it takes you to the site, and there’s no spam present at all. However, Google’s excerpt AND Google’s cached version of the pages in question are loaded with the spam. I’m WTF’ing.
Try it. Click the result, and click the cached result, and compare.
CLEVER(?!): Hack that was specifically made to target only the Search-Engine User Agent(?!) (Thx Jon)
